How does your purchasing process work?

First off, Media Options takes information security very seriously. All transactions and information is 100% secure with us and our payment partner PayPal. No need to worry!

An offer can only be made from a registered user. This ensures that all offers are serious offers from qualified buyers. Email addresses are confirmed upon user registration to prevent fraud. Any offer is considered a binding contract for a period of 7 days. If Seller does not respond within that time, offer is no longer binding.

Once a Seller accepts an offer from a Buyer, the Buyer will be contacted by email (or by checking the My Offers section in their Media Options Acccount Dashboard) notifying them that their offer has been accepted and they should now login into My Account and make a secure escrow payment to Media Options Inc. (all payments are handled automatically through PayPal - But it is not necessary to have a PayPal account in order to make a payment).

Buyer will be redirected to a PayPal payment screen where they can choose their method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal balance, Bank Debit, etc…). Once Escrow payment is completed, Buyer is automatically redirected back to Media Options and both Buyer and Seller will receive confirmation emails that payment has been made.

All payments are placed in Escrow by Media Options and held securely until we are able to confirm that the domain has been transferred (actually pushed) into our account at the appropriate registrar (the current registrar of record). Upon confirming that we have received both payment from the Buyer and domain transfer from the Seller, we will then distribute funds to the Seller and either push the domain into an account created for the Buyer at the current registrar (normally within 24 hours or less) or it is also possible to transfer domain to another registrar requested by the Buyer (may take up to 7-10 business days).

Once Seller has pushed the domain to Media Options’ account they should mark it as such in their My Offers section of their account. Likewise, once Buyer has received their domain they should complete the transaction by clicking the appropriate link in their My Offers section of their account.

Transactions are handled safely, securely and quickly with support always available should either Buyer or Seller require any assistance.
